In February 2016, Chronixx blessed fans with the Roots & Chalice mixtape. The 'tape made in collaboration with Brooklyn's Federation Sound spawned several fan-favourites. These include 'Out Deh', 'Spanish Town Rocking', 'Sell My Gun' and 'Majesty'. The title track 'Roots & Chalice' is released today.
Frequent collaborators Special Delivery ('Beat & A Mic', Eternal Fire', Rastaman Wheel Out') supplied the '80s-influenced rub-a-dub style riddim. With Chronixx celebrating the ingredients for the perfect Rasta man party, the mixtape's opener sets the right tone for what is to follow. You can hear the mixtape here.
