Runaway hit Capture Land from the Dread & Terrible project inspired film maker Nabil Elderkin to create his own visual interpretation of the song. The film, shot in the historic community or Port Royal, Kingston, Jamaica, follows a just released inmate named Tucki upon his release as he courts young ladies, catches up with old friends as while on his mission to finding his purpose.
The short film was made in partnership with the Tribeca Film Institute and the Nelson Mandela Foundation as part of The Power of Words series. The initiative encouraged filmmakers to explore the written legacy of influential figures as inspiration for the story and using film to educate.
